If you enjoy having a a drink from time to time, leave your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks back at the hotel. Take only the money you anticipate to use on beverages, tipping and only the pocket change you anticipate to lose and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You might experience a success following a boozy night out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to hit a long toss at a smokin craps game.
