Don’t Drink … Gamble!

If you enjoy having a a beverage occasionally, keep your money at home if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your wallet, and leave all cash, charge cards and checkbooks at home. Pack only the cash you expect to spend on alcohol, tips and few dollars you intend to burn and keep the remainder behind.

Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You can have a profit after a drunken night out with your comrades and be blessed sufficiently to hit a marathon roll at a smokin craps game. Keep that story because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and gamble. These activities simply don’t mix.

Keeping your moolah back at the hotel might be a bit excessive, but precautionary measures for excessive actions is compulsory. If you wager to profit, then don’t consume alcohol and bet. If you like to blow your $$$$ without a worry, then drink all the no charge alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but don’t pack credit cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of following losses after your befuddled head loses all the cash!

Allow me to take this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then hop on to the internet to play in your best-liked casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my abode, however since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards near by, I can’t drink alcohol and gamble.

How come? Although I don’t drink to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is definitely enough to blur my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don’t gamble when you do. Both make for a ferocious, and expensive, drink.
